| Anjan Das to sign Abhishek, Viveik or Saif after Faltu |
 Acclaimed Bengali directors certainly seem hell bent on making their mark in Hind cinema as well. After Rituparno Ghosh, it’s now the turn of Anjan Das, the director of the Bengali film Faltu. “And why not?” Anjan questions, “It is no secret that Hindi films do give you the advantage of reaching out to a wider
audience, and that is exactly what directors need.” In fact, he reveals that for his next venture, a Hindi film, he is now toying with the idea of casting either Abhishek Bachchan, Viveik Oberoi or Saif Ali Khan. But if you think that’s all, you’re wrong. Das has even bigger plans which he’s not revealing just yet. And of course, we’re not letting the cat out of the bag just yet. Rest assured we should be the first ones to tell you though. For now, let’s just say Das is out to ‘conquer the world’! | |
