Bollywood’s brand new couple Abhi-Ash are shooting in Hyderabad for Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar Raj. Last Saturday, they made a public appearance, along with pa Amitabh Bachchan, at the 54th Annual Filmfare Awards (South) at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. While at it, they seemed to make sure that their image as a much-in-love couple was etched on the minds of the Hyderabadi janta. Our khabroo stationed there during the award ceremony informed us that the two entered the venue holding hands, sat through the evening holding hands, walked up on stage to give away an award holding hands… They did need to declutch for a bit when Ash gave away the Best Actor award to Mamooty. But the minute the job was done, her hand sought her husband’s hand almost immediately. They walked off the stage holding hands, and then continued to sit arm-in-arm for the rest of the evening. A lovely sight.
