INDIATIMES MOVIES
My favourite pastime on the sets of a film, when I am not shooting, is to go through DVD copies of my films. I like to watch it time and again to see if I could have done a particular scene in a different manner.
My vanity van is well equipped with a DVD and plasma tv and the acoustics are surround. Its in the inside of this mobile car that I play my films. On the sets of Dus, I was studying my performance in Yuva.
Lallan singh¢s character was a huge challenge. The diction had to be go with the body language. I also had to put on weight and yet look tough.
I am right now shooting for Dostana and am going through Guru. Guru was a tough film, but then I also had a fantastic director.
It¢s a good way to pass your time in between shots and at the same time, an opportunity to perfect your art. I want to be a good actor and do good films and I believe seeing your performance and finding ways to perfect it, can only help me grow as an actor.
