This Group is for all Thinkers/Educationists/Economists/Engineers/Scientists/Technologists/Farmers/Students/Artists, and all well wishers of Sustainable Development theme, who wish to interact through their innovative ideas and concepts, towards improving the standard of living in less developed societies and nations. The idea is to develop themes based on Local Materials/Local Resources and Local People, so that SHIFTING POPULATION is obviated. We will try, as far as possible, to discuss and interact on matters which will involve Renewable Resources, Agro Resources, Agrowastes, towards creating Sustainable Rural Development. We shall discuss, debate on ways to practically uplift the lot of the village people, through development and commercialization of a new concept: AGRO-POLYMER-INDUSTRY-COMPLEX (APIX). It is estimated that, if we were to set up APIX Complexes based on 1000 Ha clusters in the different villages in a country like India, there could be about 150,000 APIX set up, converting the Renewable Resources into Engineered Products, Alternate Energy, Alternate Petrochemicals and Bio-Fertilizers, valued about $3000 billions. Every one would have work and wages within ones own environment, offsetting the need to go to far away cities and other countries, seeking livelihood. Shifting Population would become non-existent, and villages that are now in dilapidated conditions would become Centers of Wealth creation, bringing all round development, through increased Purchasing Power to the Villagers. An estimated 3.5 billion population, in a total of 7 billion, who earn less than $150 per annum (nearly 800 million in these are in India). The thrust of our program is to empower the poorest people to increase the earning power to well over $1000 per annum.
