On the eve of his 35th birthday the living legend of Cricket Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar spoke exclusively to News 24 on a range of issues

In a free wheeling interview with News 24 Sachin was asked a question about whom he thinks could be the next Tendulkar of Indian team, Tendulkar said “at the moment the present Sachin is all right .He said he is fit and fine and enjoying his cricket and he is concentrating on present not thinking much about future.”

In reply to another question about simmering tension in the dressing room, Sachin rebutted the talk of any kind of tension or groupism in the Indian Cricket team. Tendulkar emphasized that there is nothing called seniors versus juniors and there is absolutely no misunderstanding in team India. He said the people who are making this noise should answer this question.

When Sachin was asked by News 24 about how he rates Anil Kumble and M S Dhoni as captain, he said “both of them are good. One is playing since 90`s and a world class player. He is playing for 18years and very few players have played for India for so long. Anil is a world class player and all are having high regards for him. On the other hand there is a youngster Dhoni who has played for 2 ½ years and has performed tremendously. He has shown great maturity. I have played under both of them. The contrast is there and it is a good opportunity to play under them and am enjoying.”

On a recent talk about his desire to play 2011 world cup Sachin said  “I answered a particular question during an interview where in I said that I have been playing till today and as a habit I don’t think much about future or past. I enjoy present and focus on the game and I do want to play cricket…..”

When News24 asked a related question on winning the world cup he said “it is the dream of every cricketer and said the team has the talent to win world cup cricket but said that it’s too early to think over it.”
