Dear Dr Pankaj,
I went through the whole write up and it is excellent. There is one observation which may need to be modified. There is a sentence stating that why one pspecies to be encouraged to replace Parthenium and that plant may have the potential to become a weed.
I want react that "A harmless weed can safely replace a harmful weed. Further there has to be some green cover on any public land to prevent soil erosion and also to purify the air. Third point is that we are not recommending any single species anywhere. Our success story includes 12 species in Karnataka. C, Sericea has wider adaptability and relatively strong allelopathic effect".
This question was asked and I answered it. Perhaps you were attending some other session at that time,
Please circulate this lest people understand in a different way. Thanks and congrats once
again.
Regards,
M Mahadevappa
