Subject: question
Mr. Oudhia,
I am the author of Fundamentals of Weed Science (a weed science
textbook) and am now preparing the third edition. I met an Indian
student who attends Colorado State University a short time ago and he
located the IPRHG website for me. My question is why is Parthenium
hysterophorus called Congress weed in India? I am insterested in the
origin of the common name.
Thank you for your assistance.
R. L. Zimdahl, Professor
