Dear Group Members,

     In Indian State Chhattisgarh we are using common salt solution
to manage Parthenium. We are using twenty percent salt solution. We
are using it during hot summer in residential colonies. The rate of
success is very high. The residents are showing keen interest in this
cheap as well as effective method. In our state we are getting salt
in 25rupees per quintal(non-iodised). I am aware that for large area
this method is not advisable.But for small area one can use it
successfully.
