Ban suspended, Akhtar to play IPLSome reprieve for Shoaib as PCB suspended Shoaib’s five year ban by one month. Is there some power play by IPL, SRK in this move by PCB? Lalit Modi says: “We are happy with PCB’s decision over Shoaib. After PCB’s no-objection certificate, Akhtar can play in the IPL. I will myself call Shoaib and ask him to be a part of the IPL. Akhtar’s presence in the team will be welcomed. He has a star appeal and SRK will be overjoyed by this decision from the PCB.”
