SafeSquid 4.2.1 is focused on improvisations in logs, and handling of
forwarded requests.
# Until SafeSquid 4.2.0 SafeSquid needed a restart when the logfiles
reached 2GB size. From 4.2.1 this limitation is removed.
# The Native log will now record the application of "profiles".
# A unique record identifier will now be printed with every line of
extended log, to prevent duplication of records when imported into SQL
databases.
# Prior to 4.2.1, the time spent by the user on an HTTPS / SSL session
was not recorded in the Access Log. From 4.2.1 the CONNECT requests
will be appropriately logged.
# New variables for use in Custom Templates and External Parsers, are
being introduced.
SafeSquid 4.2.1 and later versions would be -
# compatible to systems running 64bit operating systems.
# easily installable on all Linux distros, without the inconvenience
of locating and fixing the ssl libraries.

Hi,
First of all login as root and remove/uninstall the nvidia driver.
Then at the Konsole/Gnome Terminal type "set selinux 0" (without
quotes) and then install the nvidia driver and make any changes you
want to do. Then tell me the results. You can also type "set seenforce
0" or "echo 0 > /selinux/enforce"(without quotes) and try again.
I hope it will help.

friends This email came on ubuntu india list. please see if you can help out on this problem. I am forwarding the ubuntu-in list mail. regards nanbudh Note: forwarded message attached.
Dear, when I bought the machine it came with vista ultimat, worked fine no problem at all. With Machine I had gone for Viewsonic VG1930wm a wide screen multimedia monitor, that too worked fine. Windows did not had any problems as far as resolution is concerned.
Last year I had a slow machine 700 duran, and I had tried Ubuntu 6.10 but failed as neither I had Broadband, nor the pc too match it. Now as I was equipped with hardware, I decided for ubuntu 7.04 64bit. As now my Machine is AMD 64 4400, with I GB Ram, and 250 GB hard disk. One partition of 60 GB I had specifically devoted to Ubuntu.
Now, installation was fine no problem even softwares got updated, speed and feel was just admirable, but the resolution looked fade, on checking found it was max, 1024x768 in the list of three. Checked into forums and tried to download nvidia driver did it, but no difference. Read second edition E Book, tried to reconfigure xorg, from recovery at boot, did all the steps as instructed but no change. Although I did choose the required resolution of 1440x900 in xorg config, but after rebooting no change is seen, accept one! now if I enable the nvidia restricted driver the pc reboots in Ubuntu but the desktop freezes. Nothing works after clicking, and I had to go through reconfiguration again but the problem with resolution is not resoved.
Yes I can boot windows, which comes as a last option in the grub, and windows again dont have any resolution problems, even now. I have been told that it could be done, but I am not familiar with the Dos format of linux, or windows, so would request all the commands to get it done.

Well, it depends upon what is your line of interest. If you are
interested in web based programming skills such as dynamic websites,
webservices, web server based projects then the famous LAMP (Linux
Apache MySql and PHP) is the way the go. If you more adventurous then
you can integrate AJAX for more appealing user interface. Dojo is one
such toolkit with interesting features. If you are interested in any
way to Microsoft .NET then the mono project is the way to go. If you
want general programing skills then the things you are trying will be
right for you. If anything related to java then eclipse project can
help you.

Hi,
Welcome to my LUG.
First lets tackle your problems one by one.
Method of installation of new software depends on what distributions
you are using and what type of installation you are trying to do.
If you want to installed pre-compiled and pre-configured software for
your distribution from vendor (updates new packages etc.) then you can
do it using built in package manager in the application. First let me
know which distribution you are using. I'll recommend OpenSuSe 10.2.
If you want to compile a software for your system and mostly the
procedure is same for every distribution.
Secondly can you tell me the procedure you followed while installing
the printer in KDE and GNOME. Also post the output of "lpinfo -v"
(without quotes) with the printer connected at the terminal as root user.
With regards,
Rajneesh

On the startup of my operating system i get following error::
"oracle intelligent agent encounter a problem need to be closed"
and then when i try to run isqlplus on IE it open windows files
instead of isqlplus login window. Also when i try to start Tnslistener
it give me error message of closing it as::
"oraclehome92 Agent started and then stop some services stop
automatically if they have no work to do e.g. windows performance and
alert log service"
I set my Port to 1521 in all files Tnslistener.ora, listner.Ora and
sqlplus.ora, httpd.conf etc.
Hi,
Your motherboard model is MSI RS480MII and probably has VIA raid (VIA
VT8237 SATA raid chipset). You need to download sata raid drivers for
Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Most probably the package will include an
.img file (perhaps vimraid.img). Then from existing Linux running on
your system, in the command prompt type "dd if=<name of your .img
file> of=/dev/fd0" after inserting a blank floppy in your drive. I
think you know the procedure to load drivers from floppy disk during
installation. If not, then at the installation boot prompt type "linux
expert" and direct Anaconda to load dirvers from floppy disk.
If you already have downloaded the drivers, please load the directory
listing of files of the package downloaded by you and the location
from where you downloaded it.
