Beloved Yesudasan Uncle - Deepest condolences

It is with deep sorrow and regret that I heard the news of the
untimely passing away of our Yesudasan Uncle. Literally a shocking
news. Being a relative of mine, we used to correspond quite frequently
and share our thoughts mostly about our church offline.

In the passing away of our Yesudasan Uncle, the church has lost one of
its determined followers. In the 71 years of his life, he had
contributed in many a ways to the church. He wanted his Church to be
an ICON to the world in serving the poor and downtrodden. But where is
his Church? It is still centuries behind in many a things. Uncle can
console to the fact that he need not get worried any more with regard
to the lethargic attitude of our Church authorities in its
administration and casual approach to many an important issues.

May his soul rest in peace and intercede for the church so that the
lackluster attitude of those who are in 'power' change to the
betterment of the society.

With deep sorrowfulness

Philip Ayyamplackal, Auckland
