Mystery at the Death of St Mary - Part 2

The death of St Mary, mother of the Lord is also called her the "falling
asleep" or dormition. It is also called her assumption. Using the ancient
texts upon which this festival period is based, Fr John Brian will explore
the mystery and the power of the reported events surrounding her departure
from this world. Much of the power of Orthodox Christian tradition can be
traced to this festive remembrance.
