Jose uncle is leaving from Abu Dhabi after 40 years of expatriate life in
the Gulf. He is one of the senior most member of Abu Dhabi St. George
Cathedral. A loving kind, admiring and God fearing personality, He is a
living orthodox church encyclopedia

After taking Masters in Public Administration, worked for Kerala State
Electricity Board for two years and later reached Abu Dhabi. Served
the UAE
Armed Forces for 29 years. Is one of the founder members of St. George
Orthodox Cathedral, He is the first secretary of the Orthodox Youth
Movement
unit in UAE. has served as the member of the Managing Committee,
Secretary,
Trustee, Auditor, Teacher of Sunday School at different periods. Has
served
as the General Convener of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations Committee.
Serving the Altar for more than half a century. Presently working as a
free
lance journalist, Editor of Orthodox Herald and Voice of Orthodoxy
(both web
publications) Writes regularly articles in ICON and the contemporary
periodicals in addition to weekly devotional thoughts in SGOS and SOCM.

We, the younger generation who came to Gulf in the recent past are able to
understand the early stages of Abu Dhabi and our Cathedral history from
Jose uncle. We always get amazed about his memory power. He can say the
date and time of each and every important milestone of our church viz.
date
of permission from Abu Dhabi Govt., laying of church foundation stone etc.
at any time. I think he is working more than 15 hrs per day in
internet for
the online publications related to our church. We can see him online even
very late at night. When I am preparing this article, he is online. We Abu
Dhabians will have a great gap due to his transfer of residence. He is a
good teacher. If we have any doubt regarding our faith, even any word from
Malayalam to English , just call or Mail him, he will reply immediately .
Most of the publication from Abu Dhabi church was through Jose uncle.
We are
not satisfied if he didn't see the proof before publishing anything here.
