Threat from KEFA

MalankaraOrthodox TV received an email threat from KEFA_NY stating that they saw
some disturbing news posted on our website. It is not stating to the particular
news they are disturbed at but have generalized it with 'some'.

In addition to a host of destructive
activities like killing and hurting our people, damaging churches, cross
towers, offensive reports in their internet forum and fortnightly magazine
abusing our church and its publications they have now ventured into direct
email contacts expressing their frustration and threatening that if the said
news is not removed the 'consequence
will be harsh'.

The email I.D reveals the origin is
from New York .
Moreover, the specific mention about individuals in New York in the mail
strengthens this view.
The email received cannot be published since it contains abusive language, for
which we regret.

However, we are registering a
complaint with the Cyber Crime department based on the said email for further
action.

This notification is to let you know
the network of KEFA and their work sowing seeds of hatred amongst people and to
protect the criminals.

During the freedom struggle of India , the Muslim league fought for a separate
country, Pakistan ,
rather than independence from foreigners. Many in India supported the theory
like we
have in our church today advocating division. Today even after 61 years of
freedom, Pakistan
is still in complete disarray. However, they are consistent in inflicting
insurgents into India
thereby putting a few hindrances to its growth. They are neither concerned for
their people nor the growth of their nation. There attitude is like, "I don't
mind even if my son dies, but I want
to see the tears of my daughter in law". Many who became
Pakistanis 60 years back are trying to return to India permanently. Keeping
this in
mind we will not stand for a division in our Church.

We would give the same advise Rev. Fr.
Mathai Idayanal, quoting our Lord Jesus, gave during the Kottayam Mahasamellnam
to KEFA "Put your
sword back in its place," "for all who draw the sword will die by the
sword".

However in true Christian spirit we
have the wise words of St.Paul to quote
"..be strong
in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you
can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not
against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when
the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have
done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled
around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with
your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In
addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can
extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit
on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be
alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
