The South West American diocese Inauguration meeting is inaugurated by the
Cardinal H.E. Daniel DiNardo The Morning prayer started at 7 A.M. and the Holy
Qurbana concluded at 10. A.M. The public meeting started at the Houston hall of
the University of Houston at 10.30 A.M. with the possession of the Bishops and
the V.I.P's.

The meeting started with the Prayer followed by The National Anthem of America
by St. Thomas Church and then the National anthem of India by St. Gregorios
Church. Ended up with the Catholica Mangala ganam by St. Stephens Orthodox
Church. Rev. Fr. P.M. Cherian led the choir.

H.G. Mathews Mar Savarios the Secretary of the Holy Synod read the "Kalpana " of
the H.H. Basalios Marthoma Didimos I, The Catholicos of the Malankara Orthodox
Church. The traditional lamp lighted by the H.E. DiNardo and then all the
V.I.Ps. The Keynote speech did by the First Lady of Texas Mrs. Anita Perry.
H.G. Alexios Mar Eusabios did the Response speech.
H.G. Mathews Mar Barnabas, the Metropolitan of the North East Diocese Presided
and handed over the Charge to H.G. Mar Eusabios. Dr. Zachariah Thomas did the
welcome speech and Rev. Fr. John Kunnathusserril expressed vote of thanks and
Mar Barnabas presented the mementos to the V.I.P's.

Clergies and members from Coptic Orthodox Church, Greek Orthodox Church,
Catholic Church, Armenian Orthodox and other ecumenical Churches, city
Councilors, representatives of other religious and social cultural organization,
clergies and deacons of the MOSC from Houston, Dallas, Okalahoma, Florida,
Philadelphia, California, Austin, and San Antonia etc. presented to witness this
historical event.
