"Sin came into the world through one man,and his sin brought death with it.As a result,death has spreadto the whole human race because eveyone has sinned.there was sin in the world beforethe law was given;but wherethere is no law,no account is kept for sins.but from the timeof Adam to the time of Moses death ruled overall mankind,even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam did when he disobeyed God's commamnd"(hebrew5:12-14)

 For Adam and Eve ,sin came first,and this lead to death.(seperation from God).This death then spread to all men.The rest of humanity inherits deathand then in our mortal state,we all sin.Thus All mankind suffers the consequences of Adam's original sin.The orthodox church rejects any teaching that would assign guilt to allmankind for Adam's sin. we  indeedsuffer the consequences of other's sin,but we carryguilt only for our own sins.

from Adam to Moses people suffered from mortality and committed all manner of sin.They were accountable to God for their sin under natural law.But without the written Law,the seriousness of their sin often remained clouded.God gave the law to Moses to exposethe magnitude of man's sin.

Adam is a Type a prefiguring or a foreshadowingof Christ as the head of humanity.As The first manAdam caused death to reign in the human race. as the New and Perfect Man Christ brings eternal life to humanity.
