Dear All,

Question: We create & mobilize many avenues & opportunities to highlight &
institutionalizing the Church framework. By the mean time, I wonder does anyone
care about our families & its internals that falling victims at the hands of
many kinds of predators prowling around? Who will console those silently crying
hundreds of families..?

News daily of Doha, Qatar dated 01st October 2009.

Quote: "Report sought on `love jihad' By Ashraf Padanna/ Thiruvananthapuram

"The Kerala High Court has directed the federal and provincial agencies to file
a report in three weeks on the alleged courting of non-Muslim girls and
converting them to Islam with the bait of love and marriage.

"Justice K T Shankaran issued the direction to Kerala's director general of
police (DGP) to conduct a detailed study after he denied anticipatory bail to
two youths accused of forcibly converting their lovers at a college in
Pathanamthitta district.

"It directed that an appropriate person of the federal Home Ministry file a
report containing its views on combating activities relating to compulsory
religious conversions.

Last week, rightwing Hindu group Sri Ram Sena, which gained notoriety after the
attack on girls in a Mangalore pub early this year, launched a poster campaign
warning Hindu girls against "love jihad" after parents of two girls complained
that their daughters were cheated by two Muslims after forcing them to embrace
Islam.

"Both girls who hail from Peroorkada near here and Thripunithura in Ernakulam
were MBA students at the college in Pathanamthitta and the boys are said to be
workers of the Popular Front of India (PFI), a confederation of Muslim outfits
active in the southern states which is also under the scanner for alleged
activities of extremism.

The court sought report on the number of cases registered in connection with
such incidents in the past three years, if these elements were getting any
foreign funding and their possible links with the extremist outfits both in
India and abroad.

"Some 500 Kerala girls had allegedly been converted to Islam with the promise of
love and marriage and the youths were offered Rs.100,00 each on successful
completion of their `mission' besides free mobile phone, bikes and fashionable
dresses in advance.

The Sena's poster campaign was launched before the women's colleges saying
"Don't fall prey to the campaign by the Love Jihad. Hindu girls should be aware
of the Islam's trap in the disguise of love."

"Local newspapers also claimed that a terrorist organisation was recruiting
Muslim youths to entice college students from other communities to become `love
bombs'. They move in groups, select soft targets to elope with on the promise of
marriage and better life. "
