I wanted to bring up two issues one actually a response Mr John Kunnathu’s
posting :If my memory is correct this issue regarding the clergy transfer was
approved by the American Diocesan Council meeting 2 times and never got
implemented . I think instead of discussing it again and again the officials of
American Diocesan Council should come forward and explain it why it was not
implemented. Even though not implemented in a full scale did they actually take
any steps for implementing it…?
Secondly In Kerala we are facing Assembly Elections very soon .. It is
generally said participating or making a stand in Politics will be a deviation
from the mission of the Church ,can we full heartedly make a statement about it
… Or are we trying to pretend we are the true followers of Jesus Christ and
trying to share what we have with the neighbor and opening up a new court case .
What is the real story behind that “EDAYALEKHANOM” against the government..?
When Elections are nearing everybody including the Jacobites adopted a
bargaining tactics how do we place Our Orthodox church in this game … If we
truly abide by the true mission of a Christian Church give up the fights …
withdraw all the court cases share all the Churches with Jacobites . If not
time for action is right now …. We have to protect our properties our churches …
We cannot forget the pain and suffering of our Vattasseril thirumeni for our
church’s liberty ..we need to make a stand and we need to start
negotiations with the ‘ so called rulers’ . There is no in between stage like
we have now.
