Dear Friends,

U might remember that there was a big storm and lightning last week. It has ruptured the router which provides internet connectivity to our hostels. There is an alternate line which provides internet connectivity to the faculty and CC. Cyber com has got the approval to provide the internet connectivity to the hostels through that line, but that would be possible only after the working hours. The net connection which was available over the weekend was through the efforts of cybercom and was done through that line only.

The repair of the ruptured line is not in the hands of Cyber com (and neither was the storm and the lightningJ) and we are in constant touch with administration to get it repaired ASAP. But we cannot give any time line for that.

So we all have to face this inconvenience and net won't be available regularly from 9 to 5 in the day from tomorrow onwards until the hostel line gets repaired.. .
