Prerana has been launched. The show has begun. What we need now is a little co-operation from you .

This is to update all the IM-B section people that there is a change in
the Mod 2 Time table of IM-B.  Fin Management classes have been
rescheduled from Monday (2:45 PM to 5:50 PM)to Tuesday (2:45 PM to 5:50
PM). This means IM-B will have no classes o Monday after Lunch

The change has been done to accomodate ITM batch's interest who are
interested in studying Fin Management.

Kindly make a note of this in your schedule

The formula sheet prepared by Vasanth will be attached with the question paper.
There is another formula sheet attested by Maam and that can be carried in examination hall. The sheet is available at xerox center.

One more information : the paper will be more than 60 marks we can attempt as many we can and score max 60.

PS : Though every care has been taken while preparing the sheet and has been checked by ma'm, there is no guarantee of accuracy and pls check for the notations used.

If selected your work will go to all the B schools in India plus the electronic media. Can the oppurtunity get bigger than this? Grab it before it is too late.

Rules for poster design:
1. Poster should be in A1 size.
2. Poster should be based on some theme or concept (Eg. Prerana 2007 poster is based on aviation theme)
3. Enough space should be available to add events' names (12 events) and other relevent stuff.
4. Most importanatly ASAP :)

There is some more poster designing work for individual events also. Interested students can contact any PMG member. Mail me back or ping me if you have any queries.

On account of workshop on August 06, 2008 Communictaion Skill Test
has been rescheduled on August 08, 2008 3:00PM-4:30PM. This is a
compulsory test and the marks of same may be considered for final
internal evaluation (some percentage).

Also note that the approval of books is still pending. Kindly make a

All Assignmnet submitted after the scheduled date will not be
accepted and will amount zero.

I. People who have slight/No knowledge about finance/trading

Street is organising a session on basics of stock markets and trading
tomorrow at 6pm. This session will equip you with the requisites for
the D&B workshop.

II. People who have given NCFM/have knowledge on this

NCFM is all theory. This work shop will involve latest cases; it wont
be just another classroom lecture. It also includes practical
examples from indian stock markets, option pricing models and trading
strategies you can use.


And this is the first workshop happening at NITIE this year. We
expect a decent participation from your batch. All future activities
of these kind depend on the success of this workshop.
