         i have no idea abt laptops ! if they r planning to introduce it

this yr. ! dat ll mean how much more money ?

         i was reading thru the pg blog the other day, one of the guys

there was of the opinion dat laptops MAKE A DIFFERENCE & he seemed to

be pretty clear on the opinion !

         Moreover, we at SIESCOMS will have to compete wit

pgdpm,mms,mca,e-mba for the pc's. our access to the pc's may be

severely restricted[especially MCA guys]!

         wat do ull think !?

hmm , true. i knw a senior , who complained about the unavailability

of the PCs , and she also tol me , the coll was plannin to introduce

laptops from this batch onwards. she tol me this 5 months back. and

there was no mention of the above fact in the admission brousher .

normally , introduction of laptops also play an imp role in attractin

students , which we din see in our case. and they also mentioned ,

college goin wifi this year , so no one purchases a laptop unless made

mandatory . the wifi system will not suffice the purpose. so i think

we ll have to wait till the coll starts.

  ne wayz , so ashwyn where yu frm in mumbai . me frm mulund. druv one

of our batchmates may be arrivin today , so in a day or two , may plan

a g2g . wat say

this is gauri joglekar from nerul .glad to hear from u guys.i heard from one of our batchmates that laptops could become compulsory.i guess we shall have to discuss abt all this with the college admn on the 29th.

however,i guess that the idea of a laptop is a good one . i am an x student of sies itself (have done bms from there last year) and i can vouch for the fact that there is a serious lack of computer facilities on the campus other taht that for MCA students or in my case for bsc (it) students when i was doing my bms.
