To A Most Singular Net Group,

I have posted a comment or two on this Group, yet have overlooked
the most rudimentary of greetings. For this oversight, I trust to
make ammends forthwith.

I am a man, who lives in Los Angeles California. I have seen 54
winters in my life. And have been warmed and comforted during many
of these snowy seasons by reading and re-reading the works of ACD.
As for myself in what capacity I am engaged..... My profession is
in the nature of "troubleshooting" problems in a manufacturing
environment. Pertinance relegated to automation and instrumentation.

The reference to my question of weapons (I also think he carried a
stiletto for [close in ] work)............was received with due
consideration on the merits of relevance to "the second level" of
reality. That is, to progress from the third person observation, to
the realm of {actual person } existance. The comments in reply
were most welcomed.

I also had intended to post another question on
Holmes............that of his physical appearence. Since he was a
heavy smoker, most certainly his teeth were stained dark yellow, and
he had a missing tooth, among the ones in the front of the
mouth.........you know...the important ones....Any other ideas on
his true appearence are most certainly appreciated by me.

Of significance to the thread on Holmes knowledge of India, I have a
major part of my book covering these missing years. As well as
Holmes meeting and influence on certain historical figures prominent
in India history. Please write to me if you believe you have
knowledge of his interactions with any obscure yet important
personages of this era.

Please be sure in my thanks and appreciation for this Group. Also a
most ebulient.............good show...well done
to all who participate.

I remain,

Yours Truly.........
