I would like to believe that World War 2 was the British Army's
finest hour, though.
It cannot be said that The Canon is entirely without references to
the Army. Dr Watson himself was an Army man. " The adventure of the
Blanched soldier" is one which has an army setting. There are many
others which have Army set as the background. Members , can send in
their suggestions
