Society Names   Message List

As Mark suggested, the response from the list is not
really appreciable. Anyway, I am going ahead with my
plans for creating a society. Actually it is a
technical job since I wouldl like it to be full-fledged
in terms of the services such a website offers and
that means spending some time on the design.

I was thinking of some names for the society.
I enumerate a few names I could think of, here.

1. The Great Indian Sherlockian Society
2. The Indian Holmesians
3. The Jezail Bullet Society
4. The Dancing Men of India
5. The Elementary Indians
6. The Retired Tri-Colormen (Reference to Indian Flag here)
7. The Indian Boswells
8. The Indian BeeKeepers
9.Indian Sherlockians Online
10. Indian Holmesians Online
11. The Noble Batchelors of India
12. The Noble Indian Batchelor Society
13. The Dying Detectives of India
14. The Indian Holmes Club Online
15. Indian Sherlock Holmes Club Online
16. Indian Holmes Society Online
17. Indian Holmesians On The Net
18. Sherlockians of India Online
19. The Great Indian Sherlockians
20. The Indian Stapletons
21. The Maiwands Online
22. The Maiwand Bullets
23. The Gloria Scott Survivors Club
24. The Amateur China Collectors
25. The Mary Morstan Suitors Club
26. The Stolen Goose Society
27. The Greek Tutors of India
28. The Indian Greek Interpreters

I made up all of those names. With some imagination and
mixing of the characters of the canon. Of course many of them
are whimsical, and not "serious". It is up to the group here
to decide whether to choose a serious name or a whimsical one.
For example, the names 1,2,7,9,10,14,15,16,17,18,19 are all
pretty serious with no actual reference to the canon, the
rest are all whimsical.

Cheers

-Anand
