Re: [sherlock holmes society of india] Blaft Publications?

Dear Sumal,

My reading list has not yet included any Tamizh authors, though I would like to
read Sujatha's scifi novels/stories. My father was a fan, although he used to
read it in Tamizh. A few of Sujatha's stories were about a detective (Anand, I
think) who used to love reading Wodehouse and solve crossword puzzles (a bit hit
with my father since he loves Wodehouse).

I have heard of "Pattukottai" Prabhakaran, of course, but have not particularly
been interested in reading him since my Tamizh reading skills are not so good.
Still, when I next go to Landmark, I'll look out for translations and let you
know.

Sridhar.

Dear Sri and Holmesians,
Have by any chance read an anthology of Tamil crime fiction published
by a new publishing house, Blaft publications? . I remember reading
very enthusiastic reviews of the collection. It features Rajesh Kumar,
Pattukotai Prabhakaran among others. I do recall reading Tamilnovels
of Rajesh Kumar in my schooldays. Sri, can you tell me where this is
available?
Sumalsn

Yes. Feluda is perhaps the "original Indian detective", created in the mould of Holmes. I think members would recall some discussions we have had in the past...
