Satyajit Ray created Felu Da who can be taken as the Indian Version of Sherlock
Holmes.He had also created Prof. Shonku the Indian version of Prof. Challangor
,Similarly Sarnendu Bandhpadhaya had created Byomkesh Bakshi (before FeluDa) who
can also be seen as the Indian version of Sherlock Holmes.
Both of them wrote in Bengali (Bangala)
