Reply | Forward Message #1974 of 2642 |
Dear Friends,

If Diwali is part of your family and community cultural heritage from times immemorial and if you feel in your heart and soul that Diwali should be known and recognized by the mainstream peoples of USA the kindly inform the USPS so....as explained below....

Diwali is an important Indian festival, and USPS (US Postal Service) is considering issuing stamps for this occasion. USPS has stamps for other festivals too like Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Eid, and Chinese New Year. To do this, USPS needs 500,000 signatures to have a stamp release, and so far 280,000+ people have signed the petition. Please go to the site below and if you agree with the cause kindly support the release of the Diwali stamp.

 Thanks you......

Also, kindly forward widely to others who would support this. One does not need to be of Indian origin  or resident in USA  to sign the petition. So let's get the Diwali stamp issued!
