Rajesh,
What type of teaching materials do you have?

I am in the process of creating an introductory statistics course for
my colleagues who are engineers. I am looking for some software tool
that I can use for making very intuitive visual demos to explain
statistical concepts through effective use of simulation. Are you
aware of any such tool that is not very expensive and pretty easy to
use?

To be specific, usual stat software like SAS, JMP, SPSS etc. will not
serve my purpose - what I am looking for is a more dynamic and
interactive simulation tool that can be used to build a story telling
type application or video games or vitual reality type applications.

Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks,

Pradipta.

I differ from you about the suitability of R. It's not good for long run simulation when you especially do a long range of computation. But for other sort of...
