Dear all,

I have a query regarding testing more than two proportions.

 

We know that ANOVA is used instead of multiple t-tests when more than 2 means are to be compared in order to retain the probability of committing type 1 error at 0.05.

 

But what is to be done in case we need to test three or more proportions? If we test two at a time will it not result in increasing the prob of committing type 1 error.

 

Kindly advise.
