Re: [Statisticians_group] a probability question

Answer is pretty simple.

probability of rain in any three days = 0.3x0.3x0.3 (assuming independence)

Now, in a week, we can have 5 possible 3 consecutive days.

Therefore, the probability of rain in exactly 3 consecutive days in a week is = 5X0.3X0.3X0.3

Probability of rain in a day of a month is 0.3
What is the probability of rain in exactly 3 consecutive days in a week?
