hai my name is praveen kumar and i completed my M.Sc.(Statistics) from IIT BOMBAY in the year 2006.
Can u please tell me the books name for ISS and how can i get previous year quetion papers and syllabus of ISS.

While ISS Examination is one of the oldest examination of UPSC in India but there is no institute in India which is providing the coaching or study material.My brother Kanishk Kant who completed his masters in Statististics in 2002(Agra), stood First in All India ISS Examination of this year.In between he was doing Ph.d with felloship from CSIR-JRF.
He never got any study material from any Institute.Even after completing my M.Stat program i never felt the need of any coaching or Material.

What i will suggest, just go through the previous years examination, you will get a very trendy style of papers.If you need i can give you the name of books which Kanishk used to read for ISS prepartion.
