We have an immediate requirement for a Metrics Analyst for a MNC in Chennai, pls find enclosed few important skills\JD required for this requirement.

Experince - 6-8 years in IT

Education:- MSc Stastics\Acturial Science OR Quality Management

Â· Training/certification in Six Sigma (Green belt) and software quality assurance; Minimum of 3 years industry experience as a Metrics analyst or member of SEPG/SQA team in a software development company. Passion for data analysis and quantitative process management.

Â· Good communication/presentation and follow up skills; Ability to perform as an individual contributor and a team player

Â· Should have knowledge/skills on the following areas
- Software Life Cycle Models
- Review Process, types of review

- Advanced MS Excel, Power point

Â§ Root cause analysis, Software process improvement
- Statistical techniques such as:
(a) Control charts ( capability, stability)
(b) Correlation and regression analysis
(c) Seven tools of QC â€“ Pareto diagrams, histograms etc.
- Metrics such as Cost, Size, Effort, Schedule variance
- Defect Density, Requirements stability Index, Review efficiency etc.
- Process Performance baselines
