Hi All!

Very good morning!

I require you help in finding sample size for one of our trial.

We hv three drugs A , B1 and B2 with success rate 88% for A and 72% for both
B1 and B2. And want to randomized subjects in a ratio of 2:1:1.

A is our trial drug whereas B1 and B2 are already marketed drug. We are in
Phase -II trial, parallel trial.

We have set the following hypothesis to be tested:
H0: p1-p2=0 and p1-p3=0
H1:p1-p2>=0.16 and p1-p3>=0.16
where,
p1=proportion of patients with success in A
p2=proportion of patients with success in B1
p2=proportion of patients with success in B2.

Now, I require to have you help to calculate sample size for this trial. If
possible, plz send me formula to calculate sample size or any reference material
related to it.

Thanking you in advance.

Regards...

Mihir
