Debian comes in three categories: stable, testing, and unstable. It
depends wgat you want: security, features or mix.

There are lot many distributions based on Debian: Ubunto is good one.
It is single CD distribution. Debian stable is having 10 and testing is
having 15 CDs

Sub : Re-initialise /etc/inittab LOST #043

To re-initialise changes made to /etc/inittab without the need
to reboot, do: '#init q'
Init is the last step of the kernel boot sequence. "q" option
re-examines and re-initialises /etc/inittab.
