HI!
I use Motorola A768i which is linux based and a very
good handset. Its performance till now is more than
staisfactory.
I use it in delhi, but it is compatible with all the
mobile operators and supports class 10 GPRS.
A768i is a touch screen based phone + PDA so you
might have problems in running softwares which do not
support touch screen.
I can connect to my phone using USB cable (using
linux usblan driver) and browse my phone using
smbclinet. Yes this phone has an instance of samba
server running inside which allows you to use you
phone like any other PC when connect over USB.
If you want any specific info about this phone i can
provide you.
regards
VK
