Thanks for a great link Himanshu. That was a nice article telling a lot of
things in the offing.

One thing I found particularly interesting was the new concept of Kernel
numbering and release. And it was nice to hear that video fidelity is on the
agenda. That I feel surely needs attention. Though I am able to play my DVDs on
Linux, it lacks the refinement.

It was crazy how Intel gave away laptops to people solving trivia. But was quite
hilarious to read that the Intel guy Dough Fisher was giving a presentation for
Linux on a Windows platform and how it displayed "Windows XP has locked your
Desktop" resulting in loud booing by everyone. Such a cliché that.
