Hey all,

A friend of mine is really sick of her Windows getting hacked and being totally spywared out! (From what I can tell it is really bad!) When I suggested Linux she said it's too complicated, and... well obviously she's wrong! I've been using Mandriva for nearly a year now and it's much nicer to use than windows! So, in short, I want to make a convert of her!

 

Does anyone here have a link to a nice noobie-friendly free linux distro that I could give her? It's needs to be quite self-explanatory, as she's only moderately skilled with computers, and I can't offer her much support (she lives a long way away). Any number one distros? Any recommendations or advice? Even a link to the latest (free) version of Mandriva would be appreciated.
