Linux is best because of its simple design. It beats the pants of
windows in almost all fields except for one which I think is
Desktop. Until we are "really" desktop ready, such kind of deals
won't matter.
M$ from the very beginning has been concentrating on home and
business user. Linux didn't. We know we are the best, but to ace
we will need to be desktop ready. Until then why care about such deals.
I don't think this deal can be called as a bridge. Because bridging
requires a little comparision, and oranges and apples can't be
compared!!
One question from my side:
Who benefits from this deal?
Answer this and you will know the actual nature of this deal.
