Hi everyone !!
My PC has Intel® Desktop Board D845GLVA motherboard with SigmaTel AC’97 audio.
The problem is that i'm unable to hear sound on Linux (Fedora core 2 distro).
Though FC2 detected Ac'97 , i cannot hear any sound.

I have tried automatic soundcard detection a number of times but no use.
What is more puzzling that audio worked well with FC1 and Red Hat 9.

sndconfig does not work ...i donno why ( is it no more available on FC2)
Can someone suggest me a solution to the above problem.
