How VB come into the scene, I cannot understand.

=we are using VB as our front-end in order to set the setting as well as monitoring purpose for the user, remotely using a PC running windows(VB works only on windows)

For serial programming you won't need anything more

=we are using serial programming in order to configure the kit through RJ-45(using minicom) ,also it can be used when the network is down.

=till now we had not got the development board

=listed the following specification of the board:

I/O (MINIMUM 15)

1 RJ-45

1 RS-232

2MB RAM

4MB FLASH

32-bit processor

=can you suggest any board which satisfy such specification
