Position Description :
- This position is for an experienced Oracle DBA with UNIX Scripting
background.
- Needs to have strong experience on development side (please do not
submit resumes of profiles that have experience only on production
support)
- Need to be from a telecommunication background
- Should also have strong hands on 9i, 10g.
- Need to have prior infrastructure experience.
- Need Oracle DBAs with in-depth application
management skill set.
- Needs to have UNIX, SQL Loader, Scripting
and Dataset management experience.
- Need some experience with UNIX scripting ( data
loading kind of functionality) as well.
- Data loading is a very broad statement so need someone who can
manipulate, cleanup data from a flat file and also who can
use UNIX command as well file editing command to edit / correct the
data content.
- Need somebody who knows how to manage and maintain sanctity of data
in several environments.
- Need somebody who can perform data backup / restoration and
also can monitor application performance and given an error / alert knows
how to troubleshoot.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
is an absolute must.
- Need good experience/knowledge/exposure with Oracle stream
based replication and should know how to manage / monitor that.
- Need to have Shell / Awk scripting experience
