Job Title:  Websphere Consultant/Support Specialist.

PAY RATE: $60/hr. fixed

Websphere Consultant/Support Specialist:

• Candidate should have solid experience in enterprise-level deployments of WebSphere Application Servers. 5-10 Years of industry experience.

The rollout of eDocs for the US tax professionals is scheduled to begin July 2008. Prior to that, GOS is engaged for the buildout of over 20 Websphere servers. Additional support to augment existing staff skillset will allow us to provide the necessary coverage and support through the month of July.

Websphere support for the eDocs implementation.

• WebSphere / WCM administration 6.0 including the installation, configuration, architecture, periodic monitoring, performance tuning, diagnosing, troubleshooting and support of WebSphere Portal servers and Application servers,
• WebSphere / WCM 6.0 Deployment manager administration,
• Work Load Management (WebSphere Cluster),
• WebSphere Application server & Application Security,
• Consult on internal projects dealing with the WebSphere line of products.
• Advise and create appropriate standards for WebSphere for internal clients and GEOS
• Advise and create any appropriate monitoring and reporting facilities for the support of WebSphere.
• Work with clients in conducting performance testing and analyzing results as part of the project life cycle,
• Integrating WebSphere servers with IIS, LDAP (ADAM), SQL Servers and . NET servers,
• Application deployment and rollout with solid understanding of the following concepts: HTML, XML, J2EE, Secure Sockets Layers, Secure Certificates, Load Balancing, Application / JVM Tuning, TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, firewalls and multi-tiered architectures. Knowledge on Java & Web Application run time environment.
