We are in need of *two Cisco Telephony/Security Presales Engineers with
4+ years of experience. * for a Reputed Telecom Company at Chennai
We are looking for a Cisco Telephony/Security Presales Engineer for our
offices in Chennai, India who must have the following Cisco skillset:
§ Strong client service mindset with ability to handle multiple
concurrent projects and presales efforts. Good verbal and written
communication skills, especially when dealing with non-technical
clients, is crucial.
§ Candidate should know the Cisco AVVID product suite - Call Manager,
Unity, IPCC Express, Emergency Responder, Meeting Place Express, etc (we
don’t expect candidates to know EVERY aspect of the product suite). Full
life cycle support beginning with client needs analysis and information
gathering, system design, solution presentation to both technical and
senior management, system implementation in a team setting, knowledge
transfer, and ongoing support.
§ An ideal Candidate should know the H.323/MCGP/SCCP gateways, IOS,
SRST, CME and CUE setup and troubleshooting. Standard telco
troubleshooting skills such as PRI/T1 are required.
§ Candidates should have a CCNP level knowledge of routing and switching
(L2 and L3) in addition to QoS, across the popular Cisco routing and
switching product lines.
§ Candidate should have a basic working knowledge of relevant Microsoft
Server platforms (2000, 2003, Exchange) and MS services such as DHCP,
TFTP, NTP, Active Directory, etc.
§ Previous consulting experience highly recommended and desired.
Previous production installations in multiple environments required.
§ Some experience with Cisco’s security portfolio
