Dear Friends,
The discussion regarding elephants is going off into areas and issues that is
not relevant in the context of the situation in the islands. While certainly
these matters are important, I would request people not to take up other issues
of elephants whether in Assam in TN or Karnataka unless we find there is some
relevance to the situation in the islands.

As far is this subject is concerned, I will be exercising my discretion as
moderator in not allowing some of the postings to come onto the discussion
group.
