Dear colleagues,

together with Wetlands International, regional offices of IUCN and Both
ENDS, IUCN NL has been involved in the setting up of a small grants fund in
India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia . The aim of the fund is to support projects that
promote the restoration of coastal ecosystems and ecological sustainable
reconstruction efforts after the Tsunami disaster. The first (try out) deadline
is 15 september, followed by a deadline on 1 October, and another one later this
year.
Maximum financial support is 85.000 Euro, but most projects funded will be
below 15.000 Euro (75% of available funds).

Please feel free to distribute this information to any organisations that
you think might benefit from this funding possibility.

You can contact the small grants officer in your own country (names and
addresses below) for further detailed information.
