routes and sectors. Air Deccan as of 01st of February 2006 would have 26
flights out of Chennai, which includes 07 flights into Bangalore and four
flights into Hyderabad. Air Deccan has 02 Airbus A-320 and 03 ATR's based in
Chennai. It is also planning to put up a world class hangar facility at
Chennai.**



*Air Deccan today announced new flights beginning from the 01st of March to
31st of May 2006; the bookings for the same are open.* The routes are
Chennai- Port Blair, Chennai- Ahmedabad and an additional evening flight
Chennai – Mumbai. The connectivity to Port Blair has a lot of significance,
given the limited and time consuming sea route. A 180 seater Airbus A-320
will be deployed on these routes, the schedule is given below.
