Discussion on mangrove science

A mangrove resource centre has been built by the Coastal Poor
Development Action Network India at Sahtianagar, Shore Point here, which
aims at creating environment awareness education among people with a special
emphasis on mangrove science. This centre is developing a mangrove nursery
with different species of mangrove seeds found in South Andaman.
In this connection, a day long consultation-cum-discussion will be
organised by this centre at Magapode Nest, Haddo tomorrow (Mar 2). Director,
Mangrove Action Project USA, Mr. Alfredo Quarto and Mr Jim Enright, the
South East Asia Coordinator of MAP will be the chief guests. The
consultation will begin at 10.30 am and conclude at 3.30 pm, a communication
