Hello,

I want to introduce myself to the group. I basically an Ornithologist,
currently based at Rishi Valley Education Centre, Andhra Pradesh. I am
the Director, Institute of Bird Studies & Natural History here and
also teach Environmental Science at the School here. Our institute
offers a six-month Home Study Course in Ornithology (for more details
see: www.rishivalley.org; www.forv.org). I am also an associate editor
of the journal INDIAN BIRDS (www.indianbirds.in).

I also moderate an e-discussion group called Tamilbirds, a group to
discuss the distribution records, status and conservation of birds
found in Tamilnadu.

I was a member of the A&N group when it first started but had to
discontinue due to lack of time and poor internet connectivity at our
place. I have visited Andamans once in 1988. Would love to visit it
again when the opportunity comes.
