Port Blair, March 01
A ten-day training programme on ‘brackish water farming’ for fish
farmers of Andaman got underway yesterday at KVK, Sipighat with its
inauguration by Dr.R C Srivastava, Director CARI. The programme is
sponsored by National Fisheries Development Board, Hyderabad and
organized by Krishi Vigayan Kendra in collaboration with the Fisheries

the Division, Fisheries highlighted the need and importance of brackish
water farming in Andaman, especially in the tsunami inundated areas. He
