All these things are of no use. They need to build the fiber network and offer good consessions in Tax to it companies and their employees. They should learn from Daman and Dew (UTs), investment by mare one bank is of no use. It is infrastructure which brings companies... they shuld stop beleving that US companies will bring infrastructure with them , yes if case infrastructure is good and they get better deal than Haryana, Dew, Paundicheri (all these places have lucrative taxes for IT and at same time are backed by Solid infrastructure). At least we can assure them that Himachal won't get held by Floods (as Southren parts recently like Banglore etc)....chodo yaar... HAPPPY DEWALI TO YOU ALL... ENJOY

The Perseulle, a merchant bank of Washington, has evinced keen interest
in investing Rs 1,000 in various projects in Himachal Pradesh, Chief
Minister, V B Singh, on Wednesday said.
The bank has interest in hydro-power generation, silicon and water
purification projects, he said. The Chief Minister, who held a high-
level meeting with a team of the bank headed by Frank H Pearl, Chairman
and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said that the state welcomed
foreign investment in hydro power development and tourism sector. He
said that the government had decided to invite offers for harnessing
hydel power generation in next four months and said over 11,000 mw
power potential still remained untapped.
